I went where most physicians won't.
Now I help others get there too.

I'm Dr. Carolyn Moyers, DO, MS, FACOG, MSCP, IF — board-certified OB/GYN, osteopathic physician, and founder of Sky Women's Health. For two decades I've treated the intimate women's health issues medicine has been too uncomfortable to take seriously: menopause, sexual dysfunction, the conditions that go undiagnosed for years because no one is looking. Whether you want to learn from me, build your practice with me, or bring me to your stage, you're working with someone who has actually done the work.

What I stand for

This is mainstream medicine that mainstream medicine has failed to take seriously.

I built my expertise in the rooms other physicians leave empty. I see women with clitoral adhesions that have gone undiagnosed for years; and that isn't rare, we're just not looking. I see the 0.6% annual muscle loss through the menopause transition that no one warned them about. I see sexual health concerns that go unasked and unaddressed in routine care.

None of this is fringe. It's women's health. The part of it that's been quietly handed off, referred out, or skipped entirely. I went and learned it: not because it was required, but because my patients needed someone to.

My story

I chose my pace, and you can too.

After five years in private practice, I had my third son and made a deliberate choice to slow down — but I never stepped away from medicine. I worked part-time as a hospitalist, eventually serving as program director, and spent a year building a gynecology program at a hormone therapy clinic. That year was one of the toughest of my career, and one of the most instructive: it taught me what it

actually takes to build a practice, and it showed me, up close, how badly midlife women are underserved.

When I was ready to return to full OB/GYN practice, the system looked at my lower volume and wanted to proctor me — as if none of that experience counted. So I joined a high-volume OB hospitalist program and proved, to the system and to myself, that I could still do exactly what I'd been trained to do.

But proving myself was never the point. Underneath it all, something

else had been simmering: the practice I actually wanted to build — one where women get more than a rushed visit; where there's time, precision, and space to actually be heard. So I stopped trying to satisfy a system that was never going to be satisfied, and I built that instead.

If any part of this sounds familiar — the feeling that you have to keep proving yourself before you're allowed to choose your own pace — that's exactly the assumption my practice, and the way I work with other physicians, exists to disprove. You get to design this. And once you start, it snowballs.

I'm a native Texan, a wife, and a mom to four boys. I'm not interested in a version of success that costs everything else — so I built one that doesn't.

Why me

Why work with me

Most women's health expertise is either credible but cold, or relatable but thin. I bring both: the credentials and decades of clinical work, plus the honest experience of having been the physician who felt she wasn't doing enough — and finding the way through. I reference the research, I make the evidence clear, and I never talk down to the people I'm teaching. Your audience, your patients, or your own practice deserve substance delivered by someone who's actually lived it.
